Book Review: Talking with Trees Character Ed Books 1-3 by Colleen Doyle Bryant

I received the Talking With Trees books for free to review through the Tomoson website.

About Talking With Trees:
Sneaking off to play an iPad when mom told you not to? Thinking of being mean to your friend for hurting your feelings? Not while these trees are around! With a gentle and wise touch, the Talking Trees help kids learn to make good choices for the right reasons.

Written for children aged 5-10, Talking with Trees books and free printable worksheets present real character building situations kids can relate to. The stunning illustrations capture children's attention and help them work through issues in honesty, respect, forgiveness, and more. Available in print and as e-picture books for iPad, Kindle, and Mac.

Talking with Trees Books were written by a mother of four who based the stories on the real trials kids face while growing up to be good people. The books and free learning resources have been used in curriculums worldwide to help children learn about honesty, respect, responsibility, and more good traits.

My opinion:
I loved the lessons in all these books. I especially loved the way the children in each story learned the lesson the were learning by talking to a tree and the tree had stories about the children's own parents going through a similar situation. I think it is important for children to know that we parents also went through everything they are going through. The activities in the back of the book and the printable pages on the website are very fun for parents and children to do together also. I love everything about the Talking With Trees books and give them 5 stars!
